Pioneer PX-V7

Pioneer | 1984 | Z80A @ 4MHz | 32KB RAM + 16KB VRAM | Color via RF, Composite, or RGB

I've always had a thing for computers with oddball data storage formats. Ever want a MSX1 that interfaces off with Laserdiscs?

The PX-V7 is my favorite MSX.
There are some downsides to it, sure. The specs aren't amazing, it does have a bit of an overheating issue, and the keyboard is just kinda lame linear sliders with mushy pads on the bottom.
That said, what other system have you seen that looks like a slick hi-fi component while running such amazing games as Hydlide?
Did I mention this thing can interface with Laserdisc players that have that 262-degree DIN8 remote connector?

I'm slowly picking up where I was on MSX-PG so expect something about that within a month or three? (It's currently Novemebr, almost December, of 2023.)
