CDP1802's Postcard Stuff

Getting things in the mail is fun.

I don't know why but I'm a sucker for postcards.

If I go to a place, one of the first things I usually look for is a postcard. I find them to be one of the best souveniers that I can get. They're cheap, they're unique, they get postmarked as a reminder of the date I was gone, and they're really easy to store in something like a box or binder. I pack pretty light when I travel, a 30L backpack gets me a solid week of moving through somewhere new, and that 30L backpack doesn't have a ton of space. Being able to easily buy and mail things to remember my trip by is important. What's easier to buy and mail than the thing meant for exactly that?

I recently thought that doing some of my own postcards would be pretty fun. This page is just about those for whenever I make the things.

I wanted to have some sort of RCA 1802-themed card to throw at people for conventions. What's a better 1802-based thing to put on a postcard than the guts of a RCA Studio II? I think that's a cool idea.

If you come see me at CGC '24, I'll have these to give out:
